Internship
All internships posted are twenty (20) hour-per-week, mentoring and learning opportunities compensated by stipend, not an hourly pay rate. Please submit the VC application and resume as directed in the "How Do I Apply" Section.
Co-Ed Small Groups Intern (1 internship/20 hrs/week)
- Support the Pastor and PC in planning and implementing leader events
- Publish small groups newsletter each month
- Facilitate process of helping members find small groups
- Assist in keeps small group database up to date
- Communicate with leaders on events, outreaches, changes, needs, etc
Intern for Adult Education Pastor (1 internship/20 hrs/week)
- Support the Pastor and PC in planning and implementing leader events and connection events
- Assist with the publication of small group leaders newsletter once a month
- Attend small group counter at weekend services
- Assist in keeping small group database up to date
- Completion of VLI or equivalent seminary or Bible college course study; seminary courses beyond VLI preferred
Intern for Video and Media Production (1 internship/20hrs/week)
- Must be a current Junior or Senior college student
- Completion of mid-level video production/editing coursework
- Scheduling, setting up, lighting, and shooting video interviews
- Documenting events using both still/video capture
- Logging and assembling rough-cut edits
- Assisting with blogging and re-purposing content for Social Media
- DSLR photography experience and understanding of editing programs such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, Premiere, etc.
Marriage & Family Life Intern (1 internship: part-time)
- Prepare couple to be married at Vineyard Columbus
- Assess needs of families
- Provide support as needed to Marriage and Family Life Ministry events
- Assists the pastor in all aspects of the Marriage and Family Life Ministry
- Serve as coaching couple as assigned
Middle School Intern (1 internship: 20 hrs/week)
- Passion and understanding for Middle School youth ministry
- Attend and coordinate 2 youth group services per weekend
- Attend meetings and ministry events outside weekend services
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Publisher
- Develop healthy relationships with youth and their families
