Internship
All internships posted are twenty (20) hour-per-week, mentoring and learning opportunities compensated by stipend, not an hourly pay rate. Please submit the VC application and resume as directed in the "How Do I Apply" Section.
Connect Ministry Intern (1 internship: 20 hrs/week)
- Provide support for all new believer follow up; supervise volunteers for visitor follow up as needed
- Teach Connect Ministry VLI Mentoring 1 Class
- Coordinate Community Center Connect Ministry Events
- Provide administrative and collaborative support to department
- Teach G.R.O.W.S. classes
Marriage & Family Intern (1 internship: 20 hrs/week)
- Assist with Just Me & the Kids, How to Become One and the Parent coaching ministry.
- Serve as a coaching couple; help recruit new coaches and volunteers for the ministry.
- Interview engaged couples for How to Become One and Single parents to gage volunteer readiness.
- Record demographic information and research Marriage & Family related issues.
High School Youth Ministry Intern (2 internships: 20 hrs/week)
- A heart for High School Youth Ministry
- Work with Small Groups, Leadership teams, and help to coordinate services, events and outreach opportunities
- Plan and execute Youth Events, attend meetings and ministry events outside weekend services
- Must be out of high school for at least one year
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Publisher
Middle School Intern (1 internship: 20 hrs/week)
- Passion and understanding for Middle School youth ministry
- Attend and coordinate 2 youth group services per weekend
- Attend meetings and ministry events outside weekend services
- Working knowledge of MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and Publisher
- Develop healthy relationships with youth and their families
Support & Recovery Intern (1 internship: 20 hrs/week)
- Receive hands-on training and be equipped to serve in areas of recovery and support.
- Assist in ministry communication and coordination.
- Assist in assigning lay counselors to lay counselees.
