Andy Saperstein

Pastor

As of January 2010, Andy will take on pastoral leadership of Co-ed Small Groups at Vineyard Columbus. For most of the past thirty years, Andy and his wife, Kathy, have been involved in some aspect of small group leadership, and he brings with him a deep commitment to strengthening and expanding small group life in the church. Andy has also served in a range of other church and organizational leadership roles for many years, and is excited to be working to support and develop small group leaders, to birth new small groups, to smooth the way for new believers and new members to connect with small groups, and to increasingly integrate Vineyard small group life with all that the Lord is doing in and through the church.. He and Kathy have counted Vineyard Columbus home for more than twenty-seven years, though for much of that time they have lived and worked overseas - first for nearly four years among Afghan refugees in Pakistan and then for nearly eight years in Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Andy joined the Vineyard staff in September 2009 after serving for more than three years as Associate Director of a Muslim-Christian dialogue and reconciliation program at Yale University. He hold s degrees in Linguistics from The University of Chicago (B.A.) and from The Ohio State University (M.A. and Ph.D.). Andy and Kathy have four children: Claire (born in 1988), Emma (born in 1990), Maggie (born in 1995), and Joseph (born in 1998). He and his family currently live in Uptown Westerville. Andy also currently serves as a Pastor of International Ministries at Vineyard Columbus.

Daniel Nathan

Pastoral Coordinator

Daniel Nathan has been a long time member and contributor to Vineyard Columbus. Daniel was raised in the church, and he actively served in leadership roles with youth ministry, Joshua House, Urban ministries, and most recently on the mission field in Dar es Salaam , Tanzania . Daniel has led a number of small groups over the last decade and he is passionate about seeing people connected into community and discovering God’s call on their lives. Daniel is currently pursuing an M.P.A. from OSU in non-profit management. He is married to Melissa, and they have 3 amazing young boys – Jude, Asher, and Marcus.
