The Ohio Benefit Bank is a web-based computer program designed to connect low and moderate income Ohioans with access to public benefits, such as food stamps, Medicaid, income tax assistance, and other programs. We need volunteers to guide clients in need through the database. It's quick. It's easy. Career Network
2nd Mondays
We help our clients recognize their abilities, become more productive and self-sufficient, reflect Jesus Christ in the workplace, and find a job. We are currently in need of guest speakers who can share their particular career expertise, meeting facilitators who can lead a career networking and discussion group about 6 times per year, and career coaches who can help our clients focus on a career direction, find growth opportunities, and conduct an effective job search. We could also use administrative, prayer support and evangelism volunteers.

Upward Basketball & Cheerleading
This program is for K-6th grade boys and girls. Upward Youth Basketball & Cheerleading promotes character, self-esteem, and biblical knowledge with an emphasis on skill development and good sportsmanship (click here to learn more about Upward programs). We currently have a need for coaches, referees, scorekeepers, concession workers, mentors, evangelism and playground/game room supervisors. This program runs December-March. The Zone After-School Program
We provide academic enrichment, recreational activities and homework assistance to students in grades K-8. Students may receive one-on-one reading, math or English as a Second Language tutoring if the need is demonstrated. You can get involved by volunteering to be a reading, math or science tutor. We also need Bible teachers, recreation leaders, group guides, administrative help, snack supervisors, club sponsors (4-H, chess, etc.) and school day tutors (in the schools). Our program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm in the Vineyard Community Center. The C.O.R.E. Bible Study is the first three Fridays of each month.

Single Moms' Connection (SMC) is a ministry for single moms and their families. Every month we offer a free meal and a program to single moms and their children. There are many opportunities where you can serve in this ministry. You can help with childcare, registration or hospitality. This is a great outreach opportunity for women, men and small groups.

Ohio Benefit Bank
There is a great need for volunteers who are willing to meet with clients and enter their application data into a computer software program to determine if they are qualified for food stamps, cash assistance or health care. Individual appointments last an hour. Volunteers can schedule according to their own schedules. One day training is provided through the state.

Home Buyer Education Workshops
Our goal is to help first-time home buyers understand the advantages, disadvantages and responsibilities of home ownership. We need Vineyard members who are mortgage representatives from mortgage companies, home inspectors, and title company representatives to volunteer to share their knowledge. Vineyard Free Legal Clinic
1st Mondays (except January, July, and September)
Our Free Legal Clinic offers legal assistance for those who cannot afford a lawyer. Lawyers are needed for consultations on immigration, minor criminal matters, domestic, CPO, landlord tenant disputes, mediation and micro-entrepreneurial services. Hospitality, conversation, prayer support, evangelism and administrative help are also needed.
