Alen Auguste grew up on the East Coast (mainly inner city Boston, Massachusetts and Cape Cod area). Facing abandonment, abuse, foster care, group homes, and mental institutions at an early age, Alen felt like there was no hope.  It was in his last mental institution that Alen had his first encounter with God. Since then, God has been at work in Alen's life, and he is always ready to share what God is doing.  Alen first became involved in youth ministry as a student leader at the age of 14 in a local church in Onset, MA. After high school, he moved to Columbus, Ohio where he continued working as a youth leader at a local church. In 2004, Alen became a part of Vineyard Columbus staff as the High School Pastoral Coordinator, and in 2008 he became the High School Pastor. He has traveled the country dancing, rhyming, and speaking with people like John Reuben, David Mahan of Frontline Communications, Toby Mac, and more. He loves to love God and love people, and to pass the torch to the next generation. Alen is married to his beautiful wife and friend Shannon, and they have four great children: Alliyah, Ashley, Quin-Sy and Abbie.
