Become an English Conversation Partner
There are literally hundreds of international students at OSU who are waiting for an American English Conversation or Friendship Partner. You can help an international student adjust to a whole new world and have a positive experience in the U.S. by meeting regularly for conversation, being a good listener, building a friendship, or sharing a meal or other activity.
New volunteers will need to complete an application form and attend a training. To get involved, please contact Don Root, 614.267.7631 (no calls after 9pm, please). You may find training dates and an application for new volunteers at our International Friendships website.
