Dan Franz
Pastor
Dan has served as the Urban Ministry Pastor at Vineyard Columbus since December 1999. Prior to that, Dan served as a registered nurse at Children's Hospital in Washington, D.C. for several years in the field of pediatric oncology. The Urban Ministry at Vineyard Columbus includes various opportunities to serve with the homeless community, a free food pantry, prison ministry, nursing homes and hospice ministry. Dan has focused a great deal of effort personally in serving with the homeless ministry and establishing our free food pantry, which is now over 10 years old, and the free medical clinic, now under the leadership of Jason Pierce. Dan also began Vineyard Columbus' relationship with the indigenous Vineyard movement in Zambia, Africa, which has resulted in long-term ministry partnerships serving AIDS, orphans and others in need. Dan is grateful to have been married to his wife Carol since 1976, and to have four children and several grandchildren.

Chuck Fisher
Ministry Coordinator
Chuck is married to Jamie Lynn and they have two boys who left in the late fall of 2009 for training in the Army. Chuck also has two daughters from a previous marriage, both of whom have blessed his life with grandchildren and in so many other ways Chuck is a graduate of Franklin University with a BA Degree in Business Administration. Chuck and Jamie have lived in the "Sharon Woods" area of Columbus for almost 18 years. Their family attended another church in the area for 21 years but found themselves at Vineyard Columbus in 2000. Chuck has been working in the nursing home ministry since 2000 and considers it a blessing to be involved in serving for the Lord Jesus in this area. He joined the Vineyard Columbus staff in the fall of 2009. He sees the opportunity to serve on the Urban Ministry team as a great privilege. Chuck is trying to make a difference in what the Lord is doing in the lives of the least, the last and the lost. When he has time, Chuck spends most of it playing tennis (and we mean most of it!).

Jenney Rice
Ministry Coordinator
Jenney is married to Mark and they have two children; Maggie and Sam. She is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Social Work. Her family recently moved to Worthington after living for 10 years in the Weiland Park area as an effort to be in community with people who were attending their church at the time. Coming to Vineyard in 1997, Jenney became an intern in our Urban Ministry area in 2008 and became one of our ministry coordinators in 2009. Jenney sees working at the church as a great opportunity to connect everyday people with an extraordinary God and is often amazed at how much she learns about God's heart for the least, the last and lost when she attends the urban outreaches. She also sees God stretching her to be open to seeing people the way He sees them and to take everyday opportunities to glorify Jesus. When Jenney has some free time, she enjoys drinking coffee with friends and talking about life.
