We support women who struggle when they become pregnant unintentionally or encounter difficulties with their pregnancies.
A woman faced with an unwanted pregnancy generally understands at some level that there is human life inside of her. Desiring to terminate the pregnancy stems from a more basic instinct: self-preservation. A woman experiencing a crisis pregnancy often sees her predicament as the end of life as she knows it, making it a very real choice between her life or her baby's. She has little hope of fulfilling her plans and dreams without an abortion. Even adoption, which others may tell her is a logical solution, is a path fraught with emotional and physical turmoil. Her conflict ironically derives from understanding that she is responsible for the life developing within her.
God put within our hearts that passion for life and parenthood. Vineyard Columbus' Value Life ministry is designed to assist women in making choices regarding the life of their unborn child based on biblical principles, godly wisdom and prayer.

Value Life Ministry offers mentoring programs and support groups:
MotherHeart Mentoring
We offer a one-on-one mentoring program for women which provides a partner who will come alongside them through their entire pregnancy, birth and parenting experience. Mentors assist new moms in finding resources which include: educational/GED assistance, job assistance, financial direction, parenting classes, adoption information (if requested), material assistance and spiritual support.
Our purpose is to provide a complete support system which will result in a physically and spiritually healthy mom and child from the beginning of the pregnancy throughout the entirety of the child and mom's life. HEART Group
This is a support group for women who have previously experienced the pain of abortion. We believe we are to be part of the healing process that takes place when a woman, who has experienced an abortion, is faced with the pain and grief of the choice she has made. We offer a support group called HEART, Healing the Effects of Abortion Related Trauma, in which this healing can begin. This is a 7-week closed, confidential group. Journey of Hope
1st Tuesdays
This is a support group for women who have chosen adoption. Vineyard Columbus offers a place where a mother who placed her baby for adoption or a birthmother can begin or continue to heal. A place where you will not be judged for your decision. A place where you can share your feelings and know that someone truly understands. We can walk out this sometimes difficult journey together. We can find healing through sharing and bringing our broken hearts before the Lord.
