Celebrate Recovery
The Celebrate Recovery fellowship meets at the church every Friday night at 7pm to bring our hurts, habits and hang-ups before the Lord. This fellowship offers us a chance to deal with our addictions, compulsions or dysfunctional behaviors in a safe environment surrounded by people dealing with many of the same issues. It is a place to care for others and to be cared for. We fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the eight recovery principles found in the Beatitudes and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. By opening the door and sharing our experiences, victories and hopes, we become transformed and become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. We emphasize working through the principles of recovery in Christian fellowship.
Celebrate Recovery incorporates a large session with worship and a teaching or recovery testimony. We then break into smaller groups where we can further experience God's healing through openness. The night is capped off by a time of food and fellowship where we find the joy of building healthy relationships with one another. In Celebrate Recovery you will find a place to grow and become strong again, a place where confidentiality is highly regarded, a place where you can take off your mask and be accepted just as you are. Come join us, come grow with us as we progress through the principles and steps and discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power-Jesus Christ.
