The birth of Jesus was great news indeed! And through the witness of the Shepherds, we see that the Gospel is the proclamation of news that is confrontational and paradoxical, news that is universal and personal, news that brings joy, and news that we can trust. But above all, the Gospel is the great news about our Savior and his lordship.
