One of the things I value most about Vineyard Columbus is our invitation to “come as you are”, while providing next steps for continued growth.
My family came to VC during a complex season of life where we found ourselves facing so much change (new job, infertility struggles, and missing our previous church). We experienced the generosity and faithfulness of God at VC through its commitment to love us well and help us grow. I’m grateful to say this has been our continued experience, as it has been for many of you!
No matter what season of life you find yourself in relationally (single, parenting, dating, engaged, married, or caregiving), you are loved fiercely by the Lord. He has good plans for your life to flourish, and we are deeply committed to support those plans. On Sunday, April 16th, we are beginning a new six-week sermon series on Flourishing Relationships. It is our desire to help you to be faithful and experience God’s best in whatever season you find yourself. Along with the sermon series, we have resources to help you grow and flourish! Make sure and check out the sermon series resources landing page for events, book recommendations, small group bible studies, podcasts, and other resources. We have next steps for those who are single, dating, engaged, married, parenting, caregiving, and students!
Someone wise once said, “if we don’t know where we’re going, then that’s where we will end up.” A flourishing relationship by God’s design in any context takes a commitment to grow. I want to challenge you to take an intentional next step in addition to connecting with the sermon series. Would you consider committing to one of the resources on the landing page? Would you take a class, join a group, read a book, come to a seminar, or listen to a podcast, and see where the Lord meets you in it? I trust that God will be faithful to every next step you take.
Peace,
Jason Loehr
